BULLDOG DRUMMOND gives the team a Saturday winner at Newmarket. The son of Acclaim put in a mighty performance to win the sprint handicap. Given a great ride from Dan Muscutt, Bulldog Drummond made up a huge amount of ground in the closing stages and flew home from last to first. He has always been highly regarded by Patrick and ran a terrific race last time out on Shergar Cup day.

Congratulations to his owner Richard Crowe, whose sister bred the horse and raced the mare, a real family affair. It was great to have Richard and his wife Vanessa with us at Newmarket to celebrate his win.
